چکیده
On 26th December 2019, during morning hours, an annular solar eclipse having a magnitude of 0.96 with 118 km wide antumbra occurred and lasted for 3 minutes 40 seconds at the point maximum eclipse. The partial was visible in most Asia, parts North/East Africa, North/West Australia. In context Nepal, only from ~ 8:34 LT (02:51 UT) ended 11:40 (05:55 UT). It 2 hours 47 mins 54 secs long time 10:01 (04:16 Our study is based on Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) measurements widely distributed Positioning (GPS) network over different places Nepal day eclipse, before, after We investigated ionospheric behavior through changes Total Electron Content (TEC) by using data archived five GPS stations Nepal. result reveals that there significant depletion TEC, some cases greater than 20% compared to other normal days. Observing values TEC during, event, our showed apparent variation which agrees previous studies responses as well theoretical assumptions.

The total solar eclipse that occurred over the Arctic region on 20 March 2015 was seen as a partial eclipse over much of Europe. Observations of this eclipse were used to investigate the high time resolution (1 min) decay and recovery of the Earth's ionospheric E-region above the ionospheric monitoring station in Chilton, UK. At the altitude of this region (100 km), the maximum phase of the ecl...
متن کاملIonospheric response to total solar eclipse of 22 July 2009 in different Indian regions
The variability of ionospheric response to the total solar eclipse of 22 July 2009 has been studied analyzing the GPS data recorded at the four Indian low-latitude stations Varanasi (100 % obscuration), Kanpur (95 % obscuration), Hyderabad (84 % obscuration) and Bangalore (72 % obscuration). The retrieved ionospheric vertical total electron content (VTEC) shows a significant reduction (reflecte...
متن کاملMars ionospheric response to solar wind variability
[1] At planets with induced magnetospheres, the coupling between the ionosphere, the weak draped magnetosphere, and the solar wind is very direct in comparison to Earth. The weak induced magnetosphere itself is created by the prevailing Solar wind conditions and therefore in its shape and strength dynamically depending on it. In early 2010, Mars was located behind Earth in the Solar wind; thus,...
